Little Black Stones are out!  Use a size 16 black copper john to imitate. Take a black sharpie and make the gold bead black or just tie them up with a black bead!  Midges are still very active and hatches can be prolific. It's possible to start seeing BWO's by the end of this month.  Fish dark streamers when the water is slightly high and cloudy.  Watch your stream temps as snow melting into the river will slow the bite down as it cools the water. Bring a thermometer to know for sure if the water is cooling down from when you started fishing.
