ONE-ON-ONE ONLINE CLASS
We were pretty bummed to have to postpone some of our spring classes. So, lets try something new! We’re going to offer some one-on-one video classes. Casting, knot tying, fly tying, what would you like to learn? Classes will be $30/hour and can be scheduled at your convenience. Looking to up your tying game with some new patterns, we can help. We can also mail out materials in advance so you have what you need to tie some new patterns. Or maybe you just want to take your tablet out in the yard one sunny afternoon and have us help you fine tune your cast, we can do that too. Let us know what you want to learn and we’ll help you get there. Email or message us to get started. $30/hr

 

FLY FISHING COLLEGE (EARLY DATES MAY BE RESCHEDULED AS NEEDED)
Take our in-depth course, and get familiar with the basics of fly fishing. On Wednesday and Thursday, from 7-9 in the shop, we’ll cover gear, flies, knots and more. Then on Saturday from 10-4, we’ll meet in River Falls WI and practice casting, spotting fish, reading water, and identifying bugs. Class includes time for fishing. All gear is provided for class. Please wear water-friendly pants and shoes on Saturday. $120

TROUT CAMP
Immerse yourself in fly fishing. This class is ideal for those who want to master basic skills, experience individual instructional time fishing with our guides, and take a break from the big city. We will spend two nights at The Old Barn on the Root River. Each morning you will learn the ins and outs of fly fishing, and each afternoon you will practice your skills on the stream. Bunkhouse rooms, fishing equipment, and all meals will be provided. Limited amount of waders and boots available to rent. Open to ages 18+. $250

PRIVATE CASTING LESSONS
Whether you are just beginning or an experienced angler, we can help you fine tune everything from laying the foundation for a good cast, to learning to double haul a hundred feet of line. This is a one-hour class at a near by park. This class is fully customized to your needs and schedule. If you decide to book a full-day guided trip after this class, the price of this lesson will be deducted from the price of the trip. ​​$40, +$20 for each additional person
